The aim of this project was to create a site for Ally that looked great and also incorporated her blog that she had separate from her photography portfolio.
The blog objective was met and I would also like to think the design is beautiful and modern and matches the quality of Ally’s photography. The photo galleries are fluid and smooth so visitors can view her work effortless. It was important not to ‘over engineer’ the design of site and together with Lisa McFarlane we were able to come up with something that shows off Ally’s work without dominating the screen.
Ally is able to upload the photos herself as well manage content on her site – most importantly the blog.
The images on the site are supplied by a Content Delivery Network (CDN) so they load quicker than they would normally – essential for the large images Ally has on her site.
